Philosophy Turbo Booster Review
Philosophy Turbo Booster C is a product produced by Philosphy; a brand that is well known for their high end skin care (I’m a big fan of Purity) and bath products. Unlike the majority of vitamin C serums on the market, Philosophy Turbo Booster C Powder is available in powder form. It’s a stabilized form of Vit C that works with your choice of moisturizer to protect skin from free radical damage and lighten hyperpigmentation for a more even and youthful appearance. You can mix it with your sunscreen, moisturizer, night cream and even with a heavy duty treatment like an alpha hydroxy cream (if your skin can handle it).
How To Use Philosophy Turbo Booster Vitamin C Powder
This vitamin C powder is stored in a dark glass vial with a screw-on cap. It also comes with a small “measuring/mixing stick” that you can use to measure the amount of powder you are using and mix it with your moisturizer. Personally I’ve never used the stick but always just poured in on my hand to mix it with a lotion and will even mix it directly with lotion on top of my face. You’ll have to experiment in order to find the right lotion to mix it with since some may get thick. Personally I love mixing this my plain Cetaphil moisturizer and will apply that mixture to my face. If your skin is sensitive you may feel slight stinging at first but that is common with all ascorbic products if you’re not used to them yet.
One of the great benefits of Philosophy Turbo Booster vitamin C is that it’s in powder form which means you won’t have to worry about oxidation. It’s also more likely to have a longer life span whereas serums in dropper months may oxidate after a certain amount of time.
